Due to the suspension of the public celebration of the Mass by the Bishop of Allentown, there will be no public Masses celebrated at BVM with a congregation. This seems also to be the case across the United States, and in many other places around the world.
However, "private" Masses ARE BEING CELEBRATED by myself and most other priests. This means that we are offering Mass "sine populo," i.e., "without the people." The Mass intentions originally published in the bulletin are being fulfilled, and will be fulfilled in the celebration of my "private" Mass.
The Church will be opened this Saturday at 7AM and will be closed at 6PM. Confessions will be heard at the regular time, 3PM until those who are waiting in line is completed. Maintain "social distance" (six feet distance) if waiting in line, for your safety and others' safety.
With the Church open, and if you are out for necessities or another reason, feel free to make a "visit" to Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament during the time the church doors are open!
